Introducing Foster & Cranfield
It is not our normal practice to promote the services of other companies, but we feel that in this instance it is worth making an exception, because we have been approached by a number of Financial Advisers recently who have enquired whether we know of any means of realising illiquid financial instruments held by self-invested pension schemes in order to release cash to pay retirement or death benefits.
We would therefore like to make you aware of the existence of Foster & Cranfield Limited, who have been auctioneers of financial assets since 1843 (like IPS, they are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the IFG Group).
With £60 billion currently under management in the SIPP market, there are going to be times when individuals need or want to realise their investments, but find they cannot due to their illiquid nature. Examples include esoteric property funds, structured products and traded endowments.
We thought you should be aware that an alternative market exists for the liquidation of assets within a SIPP which has previously been inaccessible.
Foster & Cranfield can provide an exit strategy through their auction service where interested investors come to buy all sorts of financial assets with a projected future value. They have a large number of clients willing to purchase these alternative assets and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further.
If you have any clients looking to realise assets from their pension fund, or are simply interested in learning more, please feel free to contact Foster & Cranfield direct:
